Last night I was officially inducted into the College of Education here at UNI. This was a big step forward in my learning career here because it's one step closer in becoming a teacher and getting that degree I've been working so hard towards. My family drove up from 2 hours away to come to the ceremony, and my roommate also came to support me! It was very neat sitting through the ceremony and listening to the speaker and thinking, I hope one day I have an impact on students lives, but more importantly, I hope students will have an impact on my life. It was a good ceremony and I'm glad that the University of Northern Iowa can recognize the effort students put in to becoming teachers. I am very excited to go through this program with some of my closest friends that I have met here at UNI, and I'm glad I can share this journey with all of you!
